Recharged!

Today is day one of my official "blogging". While the format is sketchy, and lacking whistles and bells, I still wanted to give you a taste of what I hope to offer. I am most excited to serve as a student teacher mentor to an awesome teacher candidate this semester; another passion that feeds my own professional growth. The strong knowledge of child development and learning standards that she brings has certainly refueled my energy levels and inspired me to keep up with her pace. Already, the students are more engaged and eager to take ownership in their work. Check back often for additions to the menu and reflections on our favorite goodies!
